Terms & Conditions of Voice Telephony Lifeline
NESPARC’s Voice Telephony Lifeline service rates and packages are detailed below and are the same packages and rates offered to non-Lifeline customers before the Lifeline discount is applied:
Residential unlimited local and long-distance rate: $24.95 + applicable taxes
Lifeline Residential rate: $19.70 ($24.95 less $5.25)
Includes: Unlimited local and domestic long distance, Caller ID, Call Waiting, Voicemail and Call Forwarding. There are no toll charges.
Pursuant to Section 54.403(a)(2) of the FCC’s rules, the Lifeline support for stand-alone Voice Telephony Service, subject to minimum service standards set forth in Section 54.408 of the FCC’s rules, or for Voice Telephony Service bundled with Broadband Internet Access, will be phased out per the following schedule.
- December 1, 2023, the support amount for Voice Telephony Service decreases to $0.00 unless there is only one Lifeline Provider in a Census Block. In such case, voice service support remains at $5.25 per month.

NESPARC’s Broadband Internet Lifeline service rates and packages are detailed below and are the same packages and rates offered to non-Lifeline customers before the Lifeline discount is applied:

Note: Above assistance amounts are subject to change per FCC Standards. Lifeline is a service offered as part of a government assistance program and is available only to eligible consumers that qualify through their participation in other government programs or through income. It is a non-transferrable service and limited to one benefit per household.
